Hajj 2027: The Time to Prepare Is Now

Hajj 2027 preparations are already underway

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has commenced preparations for the 1448 AH / 2027 Hajj season, with State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards and licensed private tour operators already involved in the registration and preparation process.

And there is an important date intending pilgrims should have on their calendar:

26 September 2026.

NAHCON has set this as the deadline for the collection of deposits by State Pilgrims Welfare Boards, agencies, commissions and licensed private tour operators.

That means waiting until next year may be waiting too long.

What about the Hajj fare?

NAHCON announced the approved 2027 Hajj fares in August.

For pilgrims travelling from the Southern Zone, the approved fare is ₦7,882,822, while the Northern Zone is ₦7,672,822 and the Maiduguri/Yola Zone is ₦7,560,822.

These figures make one thing very clear:

Hajj requires preparation — financially, physically, spiritually and mentally.
