Missed Hajj 2027? Your Sacred Journey Can Still Begin

Sometimes, the opportunity we hoped for doesn’t come when we expect it.

Perhaps you hoped to perform Hajj in 2027. Perhaps you made enquiries, planned financially, or simply kept making duʿāʾ — only to discover that you could not secure a place.

But that does not mean the journey has ended.

It may simply mean that your preparation begins now.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced that Saudi Arabia declined Nigeria’s request for an increase in the country’s 2027 Hajj allocation. Nigeria’s approved 2027 quota remains 50,000 pilgrims — 35,000 government pilgrims and 15,000 for licensed private tour operators. National Hajj Commission of Nigeria

But alongside that announcement came an important opportunity: NAHCON has opened registration for Hajj 2028, encouraging those who were unable to secure a 2027 slot to register for the subsequent pilgrimage.

Why wait until 2028 is near?

Hajj is not the kind of journey we should leave until the last minute.

It requires preparation — spiritually, financially, physically and logistically.

And sometimes, the greatest advantage you can give yourself is simply starting early.

By beginning your preparations now, you give yourself time to:

  • Plan your finances
  • Begin saving consistently
  • Understand the requirements
  • Prepare your travel documents
  • Learn about the rites of Hajj
  • Ask the right questions
  • Choose a trusted travel partner
  • And make informed decisions without unnecessary pressure
Perhaps This Is Your Sign to Start

You may have missed your opportunity for 2027.

But what about 2028?

Instead of waiting until the next Hajj season is around the corner, why not begin preparing today?

One decision.

One plan.

One step at a time.

Your sacred journey begins long before you board the plane.
